Never forget the original intention, inherit and innovate; Forge ahead and create brilliance

   November 17-20, 2016，Chinese Orthopaedic Association，（COA）was held in Beijing.Nearly 20000 orthopaedic doctors and personnel from orthopaedic related industries at home and abroad attended the meeting.

At noon on the 17th, the opening ceremony began.

The past ten COA conferences were held in Beijing, Zhengzhou, Suzhou, Xiamen, Chengdu and Chongqing.This year, the COA conference and the capital Beijing continue to lead the way. 66 Hongkong experts from China and 37 experts from Taiwan, China, and 248 foreign experts from 39 countries arrived in Beijing to build a brilliant academic feast to build COA's lasting glory. As the representative of the guest countries of this session, the American Academy of orthopaedics (AAOS) sent 88 first-class expert teams to participate in this COA.

   At 10:30 a.m. on the 20th, the closing ceremony of the 18th orthopaedic academic conference and the 11th COA international academic conference of the Chinese Medical Association was held as scheduled.

Professor Tian Wei, chairman of the branch of orthopaedics of the Chinese Medical Association, and Professor Zhang Yingze, chairman designate, attended the handover ceremony of the COA chairman. The two members embraced closely. They hoped that the Chinese Orthopaedic colleagues would not forget their original intention, unite and work together to forge ahead for the early realization of the Chinese Orthopaedic dream.
